 | Emily Data, President Emily is a geophysicist in the mineral exploration industry with experience working for leading geophysical companies in several countries world-wide. Her career started in the field, collecting and processing ground geophysical data, then transitioning to data processing management in both ground and airborne geophysics. Currently, Emily is the Data Processing Manager at Expert Geophysics Limited. Geoff Plastow, Vice President Geoff is a professional Geophysicist with over 15 years’ experience in exploration and applied geophysics. Geoff has an educational background in Geophysics and Computer Science. He started his career processing and interpreting near-surface seismic data contributing to the National Earthquake Hazards Reduction Program in Canada. Moving into exploration Geophysics, Geoff has worked on geophysical mapping projects globally. Geoff has experience collecting, processing, and interpreting airborne and ground geophysical data, specializing in Electromagnetic methods applied to mineral exploration, environmental, groundwater and engineering applications. Since 2018, Geoff has been with Seequent and is based in Vancouver, Canada. He is passionate about leveraging geophysics to solve complex geological challenges and is committed to advancing the field through innovation, collaboration and community. Skyler is a Professional Geophysicist in the Mineral Exploration Industry with experience working for highly-respected companies. Skyler has a B.SC. Hon. in Earth Science with a concentration in Geophysics and a M.Sc. in Planetary Geophysics. He started his career working with De Beers in both the field and targeting teams until the COVID Pandemic. After the initial lockdown, he then worked for Paterson, Grant & Watson Limited from 2020 onward, focusing on interpretation, QA/QC of airborne geophysical data for mining companies and government agencies, and processing drone-borne geophysical datasets. Since 2025, Skyler has been the Principal Geophysicist for Rosor Exploration, whom carries out drone-borne geophysical services. He oversees all data processing and interpretation as well as providing insight into research and development projects.

Darren Burrows , Past PresidentDarren graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa in 2006 with a Geophysics (Hons) degree. Initially he worked in the deep Gold mines of South Africa analysing mining induced seismicity, and working with rock engineers to ensure safe underground mining conditions. He then moved to a Platinum exploration project in the Bushveld Igneous Complex planning drillholes, logging core and managing exploration data. Finally, he moved to airborne geophysics with Fugro / CGG / Xcalibur where he has held various roles focussing on geophysical data processing & interpretation as well as business development. At Xcalibur he helps mineral, energy, and government explorers design airborne geophysical programs to answer their exploration questions.

| Micki Allen, Executive Director Micki Allen is the President of Marac Enterprises a highly successful Trade Show Logistics and Event Planning company in the Geophysical & Mining Industry since 1995. She is the Executive Director and a member of KEGS. She was the Convention Manager for DMEC’s successful Exploration ’07 and Exploration ’17 conferences, and she is a director of DMEC. Her other memberships and duties include EAGE (NSG Committee), SEG (SEG Council), EAGE (International Board Liaison) and PDAC (Exhibitor Advisory Committee) |
